Rose: I love the fragrance of roses! Plus I have grownup watching my mom incorporating rose water in her home skincare remedies. So when I set out to formulate my own skincare line rose was a must have ingredient. For this toner I have incorporated pure steam distilled rose hydrosols: known for its anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the skin. Rose helps maintain the skin's pH balance and controls excess oil production, leaving the skin refreshed and revitalized.

Vanilla: Who doesn’t love the sweet, delicious scent of vanilla? But did you know that vanilla hydrosol contains powerful antioxidants that combat signs of aging, deeply moisturizes the skin and soothes inflammation, promoting a more youthful and radiant complexion.

Niancinamide: This ingredient has been a favorite of dermatologists for the myriad of benefits it has for the skin. It is suitable for all skin types and gentle enough to be used twice a day, even on acne-prone skin: this star ingredient has the ability to minimise the appearance of dark spots caused by sun damage or aging.

Saffron: Another family favorite : to this day we use saffron daily in our food and in our homemade face masks. Saffron is rich in vitamins c & a and powerful carotenoids like crocin and crocetin. These components help lighten pigmentation, dark spots, and acne scars, resulting in a more even and youthful-looking complexion.

Willow Bark: The presence of willow bark extract in the Brightening Toner provides a natural alternative to salicylic acid: which can be irritating to the skin for some including me. Rich in salicin, willow bark gently exfoliates the skin, refines pores, controls sebum production, and reduces acne, promoting a clearer and healthier complexion.
How to use:
I use Aclarando Brightening Toner in two ways:
1- After cleansing I spritz it on a cotton pad and go over my face and neck.
2- I mix a spritz of it with the Crema Del Dia cream and apply all over. This helps to give my skin an added boost of hydration which is welcome relief in the 40+ degree UAE summers.
